John Barclay

John was born in 1869 in Ardrossan. John's father was James Barclay and his mother was Martha Wilson Tyre. His paternal grandparents were John Barclay and Mary Wallace; his maternal grandparents were William Tyre and Margaret Millar. He had seven brothers and three sisters, named William, James, David, Thomas, Robert, William, Hugh, Margaret, Mary and Martha. He was the fourth oldest of the eleven children.
