Eliza Best

Eliza was born in March 1841 in Drayton, Somerset, England.¹ Eliza's father was Joseph Best and her mother was Hannah Gillett. Her paternal grandfather is Joesph Best and her paternal grandmother was Grace Best. She had four brothers and eight sisters, named Arthur, Edwin, James, Francis, Grace, Rhoda, Hannah, Emma, Ann, Pamela, Lucy Jane and Jemmima. She died at the age of 42 in 1883 in Petersham, NSW, Australia.
