Philip, known as Phil, was born on March 29th, 1909 in Dulane.  His godfather was M. McGuire and his godmother was Jack Cassidy.  Phil's father was Patrick Ward and his mother was MaryAnne FARNAN.  His maternal grandparents are <Unknown> and <Unknown>.  He had eight brothers and two sisters, and also a sibling of unknown gender, named Tommy, Pat, Frank, Val, Mick, Ben, John, Joseph, Josie, Maggie and annon.  He was the second oldest of the twelve children.  He died at the age of 73 in 1982.
