Sisbert was born on June 25th, 1912.1   Sisbert's father was August A Gripka and his mother was Martha Bruenn.  His paternal grandparents were Jacob Gripka and Mary Daus; his maternal grandparents were August Bruenn and Regina. He had four brothers and seven sisters, named John, Joseph, Jerome, Lawrence, Agnes, Frances, Rose, Fridoline, Dorothy, Clara and Ruth.  He was the third youngest of the twelve children.  He died at the age of 17 on April 23rd, 1930 in Pierce Township, Lawrence County, Missouri.1
