Anton was born on May 26th, 1826 in Isenstedt, Prussia.1   Anton's father was Heinrich Wilhelm Brumwort and his mother was Anna Maria Dorothea Beckschewe.  His paternal grandparents were Johan Herman Brumwort and Margaret Lisabeth Blase; his maternal grandparents were Johan C. Beckschewe and Anna Margaretha Elisabeth Rabe. He had seven brothers and two sisters, named Wilhelm, Heinrich, Henry, Louis, Carl, Friedrich, Ernst, Caroline and Caroline.  He was the fourth oldest of the ten children.  He died at the age of 14 on September 2nd, 1840 in Gehlenbeck, Germany.  He was buried in Gehlenbeck, Germany.1 1
