Thomas Benton McCown 
Thomas Benton was born on February 27th, 1868 in Windsor, Henry, Missouri, USA.1 Thomas Benton's father was William M. McCown and his mother was Martha A. "Mattie" Houston. His paternal grandparents were James M. McCown and Nancy Mourning Lewis; his maternal grandparents were Harvey Houston and Isabella Hamilton. He had three brothers and two sisters, named Ulyssis S., Cincinnatus, William Henry, Alice L. and Laura May. He was the third youngest of the six children. He died at the age of 51 on June 16th, 1919 in El Paso, Texas, USA. He was buried in Laurel Oak Cemetery.1 -
