Ruby Mae was born on May 14th, 1894 in Henry County, Missouri, USA.1 Ruby Mae's father was Cincinnatus McCown and her mother was Lucy L. Duvall. Her paternal grandparents were William M. McCown and Martha A. "Mattie" Houston. She had two brothers and a sister, named Karl Victor, Harry Thomas and Gladys Melon. She was the oldest of the four children. She died at the age of 81 on August 11th, 1975 in Timber Lake, Dewey, South Dakota, USA. She was buried in Timber Lake Cemetery.-
