She had four brothers and six sisters, named Myron, Laverne, Elmer, Dewitt, Alta D., Marietta, Margaret Ellen, Henrietta O "Etta", Blanche Francis and Grace M.. She was the fourth oldest of the eleven children. She died at the age of 49 on December 15th, 1924 in Dundee, Monroe, Michigan, United States.
