John was born on June 1st, 1914 in Temperamce, MI. John's father was Irwin J Adams and his mother was Dora Grace Elliott. His paternal grandparents were John Quincy Adams and Jane Ann Newcomb. He had three brothers and two sisters, named William, Otis, Leroy, Gertrude and Amelia. He was the third youngest of the six children. He died at the age of 77 on September 23rd, 1991 in West Branch, MI.
