Leroy was born on January 11th, 1923. Leroy's father was Irwin J Adams and his mother was Dora Grace Elliott. His paternal grandparents were John Quincy Adams and Jane Ann Newcomb. He had three brothers and two sisters, named William, John, Otis, Gertrude and Amelia. He was the youngest of the six children. He died at the age of 22 on February 24th, 1945 in Germany.
