John Quincy was born on November 7th, 1849 in Temperance, Monroe, Michigan, United States.1  John Quincy's father was Lucas Adams and his mother was Mary A. Baker.  His paternal grandparents were Samuel Adams and Juliana Stone; his maternal grandfather was Elisha Baker. He had three brothers and a sister, named Charles, Elisha Baker, Anna S. and Ruth A..  He was the second youngest of the five children.  He died at the age of 75 on May 10th, 1925 in Temperance, Monroe, Michigan, United States.  He was buried in 1925 in Lambertville, Monroe, Michigan, United States.
