Nathan was born on October 23rd, 1757 in Woburn, Middlesex, Massachusetts.1   Nathan's father was Benjamin Simonds and his mother was Susanna Simonds.  His paternal grandparents were Benjamin Simonds and Abigail Simonds; his maternal grandparents were James Simonds and Mary Simonds. He had four brothers and six sisters, named Benjamin, Benjamin, Zebedee, William, Abigail, Mary, Martha, Lucy, Catherine and Susanna.  He died at the age of 69 on March 16th, 1827 in Woburn, Middlesex, Massachusetts.2
