Joshua was born before July 16th, 1657.1   Joshua's father was William Simonds and his mother was Judith Simonds.  His paternal grandfather is William Simonds; his maternal grandparents are William Phippen and Judith Phippen. He had five brothers and six sisters, named Caleb, Benjamin, James, William, Joseph, Tabitha, Huldah, Sarah, Judith, Mary and Bethiah. He had a half-sister named Rebecca.  He died on July 16th, 1657.1
