Zelda Tobias

Zelda was born in 1900 in New York. Zelda's father was Hersh Leib Pieniek and her mother was Chana Baila Warshauer. Her paternal grandparents were David Eleazer (Layzer) Pieniek and Rana Temara Braun. She had two brothers and six sisters, named Abraham (Al), Philip, Esther, Rachel (Ray), Minnie, Goldie, Mollie (Monia) and Irving. She died in the Holocaust at the age of 43 in 1943 in Golub-Dobrzyn, Poland.¹
