Henia Szajndla was born in 1852 in Hrubieszow, Lublin, Poland.1   Henia Szajndla's father was Chaim Peniak and her mother was Basia Bajla Ruchla Torba.  Her paternal grandparents were Eli Peniak and Liba Gersztein; her maternal grandparents were Herszek Torba and Gitla Trost. She had a brother and two sisters, named Elias Hersz, Gitla Liba and Hudys Etia.  She was the third oldest of the four children.  She died in 1852 in Hrubieszow, Lublin, Poland.1
