Mary Elizabeth Virden

Mary was born in 1855 in Missouri. Mary's father was Henderson (Hence) Virden and her mother was Dicey Martin Scott. Her paternal grandparents were Hugh Anderson (Virgin) Virden and Elizabeth Benefield; her maternal grandparents were George Washington Scott and Mary Polly Hill. She had two brothers and four sisters, named John, Wiley, Lousia, Lydia, Ellen and Eveline. She was the second oldest of the seven children.
