Martha was born in 1896.  Martha's father was William NORBURY and her mother was Fanny MARSLAND.  Her maternal grandparents were John MARSLAND and Priscilla (UNKNOWN).  She had two brothers and two sisters, named Ernest, Peter, Sarah and Hannah.  She was the third oldest of the five children.
