George MARSLAND

George was born in 1844 in Sale, Cheshire, England. George's father was James MARSLAND and his mother was Charlotte HULME. His paternal grandparents were Edward MARSLAND and Martha GRESTY. He had seven brothers and six sisters, named Walter, John, James, Thomas, Edward, Joseph, Alfred, Charlotte, Ellen, Elizabeth, Emma, Martha and Ann. He was the third oldest of the fourteen children.
