Archibald Reid

Archibald was born on March 13th, 1805 in Ayr and his baptism took place there on March 17th, 1805.^1 2

Archibald's father was Adam Reid and his mother was Catharine Fulton.  His maternal grandparents were William Fulton and Jean Urie. He had six brothers and five sisters, named William, Adam, John, William, James, Alexander, Jean, Marion, Elizabeth, Catherine and Margaret.  He was the second youngest of the twelve children.  He died at the age of 87 in 1892 in Ayr.
