Elizabeth Pitt

Elizabeth was born in 1848 in Monkton.^1 2   Elizabeth's father was John Pitt and her mother was Helen McMurren.  Her paternal grandparents were Samuel Pitt and Lillias Drennan; her maternal grandparents were Jonathon McMurren and Susan McAllan. She had two brothers and three sisters, named Jonathan, Samuel, Jane, Helen and Lily.  She was the second youngest of the six children.  She died at the age of 27 in 1875 in Sorn.
