Lillias (Lily) Drinnan Pitt

Lillias, known as Lily, was born in June 1850 in Monkton.^1 2   Lily's father was John Pitt and her mother was Helen McMurren.  Her paternal grandparents were Samuel Pitt and Lillias Drennan; her maternal grandparents were Jonathon McMurren and Susan McAllan. She had two brothers and three sisters, named Jonathan, Samuel, Jane, Helen and Elizabeth.  She was the youngest of the six children.  She died at the age of 53 in 1903 in Catrine.³
