Robert Martin 
Robert was born in 1822 in Ayrshire.1 2 Robert's father was John Martin and his mother was Margaret Shaw. His maternal grandparents were Robert Shaw and Mary Eaglesham-Smith. He had a brother and six sisters, named William, Mary, Isabella, Helen, Susanna, Susanna and Jane. He was the oldest of the eight children. He died before 1876.3 -
