Isabella Martin

Isabella was born in 1826 in Ayrshire.¹   Isabella's father was John Martin and her mother was Margaret Shaw.  Her maternal grandparents were Robert Shaw and Mary Eaglesham-Smith. She had two brothers and five sisters, named Robert, William, Mary, Helen, Susanna, Susanna and Jane.  She was the third oldest of the eight children.
