Isabella Jessie Hunter

Isabella was born on January 20th, 1859 in Uphall and her baptism took place there on September 17th, 1815.¹²

Isabella's father was Andrew Thomson Hunter and her mother was Isabella Anderson. Her paternal grandparents were David Hunter and Alison Thomson. She had four brothers and four sisters, named David, John, Mason, Andrew, Annie, Alice, Jane and Grace. She was the youngest of the nine children.
