Jane was born on February 22nd, 1859 in Osmotherley, Northallerton, Yorkshire, England.  Jane's father was William SAYERS and her mother was Jane BENNISON. She had four brothers and two sisters, named James, George, William, Thomas, Fanny and Sarah.  She was the second oldest of the seven children.  She died at the age of 46 in 1905 in Middlesborough, Yorkshire UK.
