Fanny was born in 1866 in Normanby, Yorkshire, England.  Fanny's father was William SAYERS and her mother was Jane BENNISON. She had four brothers and two sisters, named James, George, William, Thomas, Jane and Sarah.  She was the fourth oldest of the seven children.
