Ernest Davies Millichap

Ernest was born in 1897 in Hooton, Cheshire.¹ Ernest's father was John Price Millichap and his mother was Eliza Davies. His paternal grandparents were Thomas Millichap and Ann Price; his maternal grandparents are <Unknown> and Eliza. He had four brothers and two sisters, named Thomas, John, Charles, William, Mary and Lilian. He was the youngest of the seven children. He died at the age of 92 on February 7th, 1989 at the Hooton Cemetery, Cheshire.²

  Ernests medal index exists too but he didn't join till after 1916 -thats when they stopped putting date of entry into theatre of war on indexed - didn't find the rest of his but didn't look for too long!! Strange entry on medal index- might need to ask my contacts what it means - IND.GS.AFGN.NWFF.1919 - could it be Afghanistan? Indian General Service Medal with Afghanistan North West Frontier clasp 1919
