George Gamble

George was born in 1832 in Belper, Derbyshire.¹ George's father was Thomas Gamble and his mother was Mary Thorpe. His paternal grandparents were Stephen Gamble and Alice Walker. He had three brothers and a sister, named William, John, Joseph and Anne. He was the third oldest of the five children. He died at the age of 69 in 1901 in West Riding, Derbyshire.¹
