Mahala "Mahalie" Ann Whiteman 
Mahala "Mahalie" Ann was born on February 5th, 1843 in Danville, Adams County, Illinois. Mahala "Mahalie" Ann's father was David Waldo Whiteman and her mother was Martha Jane Bryant. Her maternal grandparents were Solomon George Bryant and Lavinia Roberts. She had five brothers and four sisters, named James, Raymond Robert, Alexander C., Joseph A., John Steven, Martha Jane (twin), Mary (twin), Susan Melinda and Matilda "Tillie". She was the second oldest of the ten children. She died at the age of 67 on April 26th, 1910 in San Bernardino, San Bernardino County, California. She was buried in Old Pioneer Cemetery, Daggett, San Bernardino, California.General Notes
