Solomon George was born on March 19th, 1795 in Virginia (perhaps in part of Colony that is now Kentucky).1   Solomon George's father was Robert Robertson and his mother was Martha Jane Bryant.  His paternal grandparents were James Robertson and Margaret Poage.  He was an only child.  He died at the age of 70 on October 16th, 1865 in Clarksville, Red River County, Texas.  He was buried in Probably Pig Pen Ranch, Clarksville, Red River County, Texas.2
