Martha Ragland

Martha was born in 1720 in Hannover County, Virginia, USA.¹   Martha's father was John Ragland and her mother was Anne Beaufort.  Her maternal grandparents were John Beaufort and Katherine Swinford. She had eight brothers and five sisters, named Samuel, John, William, Edward, Evan, James, Pettus, Thomas, Frances, Mary, Anne, Sarah and Susanna.
