Edward Ragland

Edward was born in 1726 in St. Paul's Parish, Hannover County, Virginia, USA.¹   Edward's father was John Ragland and his mother was Anne Beaufort.  His maternal grandparents were John Beaufort and Katherine Swinford. He had seven brothers and six sisters, named Samuel, John, William, Evan, James, Pettus, Thomas, Martha, Frances, Mary, Anne, Sarah and Susanna.
