Charles Wilton Goad

Charles was born on October 26th, 1828 in Marylebone, London and his baptism took place on November 28th, 1828.¹

Charles' father was Benjamin Goad and his mother was Anne Elizabeth Hill. His paternal grandparents were William Goad and Darling Thomas; his maternal grandparents were Lt Col Sir Robert Chambre Hill and Eliza Lumley. He had two brothers and three sisters, named Thomas, George, Goad, Emma and Henrietta. He died at the age of 78 on July 27th, 1907 in 12 Circus Bath.²

Charles' family

Charles and Esther were married in a religious ceremony on April 23rd, 1850 in St Peter Pimlico by minister Henry C. F. Hildyard and witnessed by Thos B Hildyard, James Croft Archdeacon of Canterbury.
