Charles was born on December 10th, 1896 in West Tarbert.1   Charles' father was Robert Sinclair and his mother was Margaret Jamieson McIntyre.  His paternal grandparents were Charles Sinclair and Elizabeth Campbell. He had twelve sisters named Elizabeth, Janet, Isabella, Mary, Margaret, Robina, Jean, Annie, Kate, Edith, Helen and Marjory.  He died at the age of 20 on April 19th, 1917.
