Mary was born on May 20th, 1878 in Torwood.1   Mary's father was Robert Sinclair and her mother was Margaret Jamieson McIntyre.  Her paternal grandparents were Charles Sinclair and Elizabeth Campbell. She had a brother and eleven sisters, named Charles, Elizabeth, Janet, Isabella, Margaret, Robina, Jean, Annie, Kate, Edith, Helen and Marjory.  She died at the age of 71 on June 24th, 1949 in Croydon.1
