Susanna (Dollie) Philippina Winterbach

Susanna, known as Dollie, was born on August 20th, 1915 in Ceres and her baptism took place on October 3rd, 1915 in NG Kerk, Ceres.¹   Dollie's father was Tobias Johannes Winterbach and her mother was Susanna Philippina Louw.  Her paternal grandparents were Hendrik Pieter Winterbach and Sara Adriana du Plessis. She had five brothers and five sisters, named Hendrik, Boetie, Gawie, Hennie, Don, Sussie, Sarie, Wies, Kitty and Gerty.  She was the sixth oldest of the eleven children.  She died due to natural causes or old age at the age of 92 on February 12th, 2008 in Cape Town.
