Vera Elizabeth Lewis

Vera was born on February 12th, 1901 in Wokurna Daly, SA..¹ Vera's father was John Lewis and her mother was Harriet Elizabeth Phillis. Her maternal grandparents were John Phillis and Elizabeth Turner. She had five brothers and a sister, named Edwin, Roy, Clifford, Hurtle, Thomas and Elsie. She was the fifth oldest of the seven children.
