Gwendoline Victoria Jones

Gwendoline was born on September 12th, 1908 in Richmond,Victoria.¹ Gwendoline's father was Harold Edwin Jones and her mother was Amy Augusta Lilburn. Her paternal grandparents were John Richard Jones and Elizabeth Anne Lemon; her maternal grandparents were Peter Paterson Lilburn and Amy Turner. She had a brother named Harold. She was the older of the two children. She died at the age of 91 on March 17th, 2000 in Camberwell, Victoria. Her burial was on March 21st, 2000 in New Cheltenham Cemetery, Wangara Road, Cheltenham, Victoria.¹¹

  Lived in Malvern until Norman died. Moved to live with Helen therafter.
  Enjoys being the centre of attention, very keen observer of life, good memory.
  Gathered family history documentation.
  Moved to Linden Nursing Home, Camberwell in 1997.
  Held her 90th Birthday party at "Leonda" on the Yarra with nearly all her descendents present .
  
  Funeral service at St Andrew's Uniting, Gardiner parish, corner Bourke & Malvern Roads at 11a m. Officiated by the local minister with Ian and Alan Parton (at Gwen's request). Gwen plan ned the entire service, reception, death notice. Margot and John were unable to attend sinc e Margot was in hospital.
