Peter Paterson Lilburn

Peter was born on August 10th, 1852 in Loch Leven, Kinross, Scotland.¹ He died at the age of 83 on July 11th, 1936 in Richmond, Victoria. His burial was on July 13th, 1936 in Boroondara Cemetery, Victoria.¹¹

  Spent some time in South Australia learning the tannery business with the German firm Zwar. After marrying settled to some degree, apart from gold mining, prospecting etc.
  
  Kinross shire is an inland county in the south east of Scotland containing, in the mid 19th century, Kinross and the populous village of Milnathort and a few hamlets. The principal river is the Leven which issues from Loch Leven. The soil is partly light and dry and partly loamy clay and partly moor. It supports cattle on the low lands and a range of crops and woodlands.
