Margrave Otto (Der Lange) of Brandenburg V

Otto, known as Der Lange, was born in 1246 in Brandenburg, Prussia.¹ Der Lange's father was Margrave Otto of Brandenburg III and his mother was Bozena of Bohemia. His paternal grandparents were Margrave Albrecht of Brandenburg II and Princess Mathilde of Lower Lusatia; his maternal grandparents were King Vbaclav of Bohemia I and Princess Kunigunde of Germany. He had three brothers and two sisters, named Johann, Albrecht, Otto, Kunigunde and Mathilde. He was the second oldest of the six children. He died at the age of 53 on July 23rd, 1299.¹
