Sybille was born in 1115 in Château d'Angers, Maine-et-Loire, Anjou, France.1   Sybille's father was King of Jerusalem Fulk (The Young) D'Anjou V and her mother was Ermengard of Maine.  Her paternal grandparents were Count, King of Jerusalem Fulk (The Rude) D'Anjou IV and Bertrade De Montfort; her maternal grandparents were Count of Maine Elias de la Fleche and Matilde de Chateau du Loire. She had two brothers and a sister, named The Fair, Elias and Idabella. She had two half-brothers named Aumary and Baldwin.  She died at the age of 50 in 1165 in Bethlehem, Palestine.1
