Jane Skaggs

Jane was born in 1804 in Hardin County, Kentucky.¹ Jane's father was James Skaggs and her mother was Hannah Holbrook. Her paternal grandparents were Henry Skaggs and Berry (Nannie) Skaggs. She had five brothers and a sister, named George, Henry, Jesse, Stephen, James and Elizabeth. She was the third oldest of the seven children.
