Elmina McGrew

Elmina was born about 1810 in Ohio County, Kentucky.¹ Elmina's father was Reed McGrew and her mother was Mary (Polly) Fulkerson. Her paternal grandparents were Robert McGrew and Dorothy Graham; her maternal grandparents were John Fulkerson and Margaret Bruner. She had eight brothers and four sisters, named Robert, John, Willis, Parmenas, Andrew, Oliver, James, Valentine, Sarah, Margaret, Mary and Elizabeth. She was the fifth oldest of the thirteen children. She died on April 17th, 1836 in Grayson Co., Kentucky. Her burial was in Beaver Dam Cemetery, Grayson Co., Kentucky.²³
