Sarah Crume 
Sarah was born on March 11th, 1771 in Shenandoah Co., Virginia.1 Sarah's father was Phillip Daniel Crume and her mother was Sarah Margaret Withers/Weathers. Her paternal grandparents were Daniel Crume (Croome) and Elizabeth Brooks; her maternal grandparents were Ralph Withers and Patience/Margaret. She had eight brothers and three sisters, named Ralph, Phillip, Daniel, Jesse, William, Moses, Isaac, Eunice, Susanna, Mary and Elizabeth. She was the second youngest of the twelve children. She had two half-brothers and three half-sisters, named John, Squire, Margaret, Nancy and Keziah.-
