Sarah was born on January 24th, 1729 in Frederick Co., Virginia.1  Sarah's father was Ralph Withers and her mother was Patience/Margaret.  She was an only child.  She died at the age of 57 on January 9th, 1787 in Shenandoah Co., Virginia.1 

Sarah's family with Phillip Daniel Crume

Sarah and Phillip were married in a religious ceremony on December 23rd, 1749 in Shenandoah Co., Virginia.2   They had eight sons and four daughters, named Ralph, Phillip, Daniel, Jesse, William, Moses, Isaac, Eunice, Susanna, Mary, Elizabeth and Sarah.
