Daniel was born on September 1st, 1680 in Kilmonarch, Scotland.1   Daniel's father was Daniel Crume and his mother was <Unknown>.  His paternal grandparents were Daniel Crume and Christan.  He was an only child.  He died at the age of 44 on September 8th, 1724.2 

Daniel's family with Elizabeth Brooks

Daniel and Elizabeth were married in a religious ceremony in 1720 in Bull Run Farm, Frederick Co. Virginia.1   They had a son and a daughter, named Phillip and Elizabeth.
