George Lindsey Nance

George Lindsey was born on March 6th, 1893 in TX.¹ George Lindsey's father was Addison Toplady Nance and his mother was Mary A. Cobb. His paternal grandparents were Fountaine Nance and Jemina Vincent Grant. He had five brothers and four sisters, named Samuel Fountain, Ashley Johnson, James Crawford, Archibald Addison 'Archie', Delaware W. 'Dell', Mary Belle, Maggie Lou, Mattie Matilda and Jesse May. He was the fifth youngest of the ten children.¹
