Archibald Addison 'Archie' Nance

Archibald Addison 'Archie' was born on February 14th, 1896 in Rockingham Co, NC.¹ Archibald Addison 'Archie''s father was Addison Toplady Nance and his mother was Mary A. Cobb. His paternal grandparents were Fountaine Nance and Jemina Vincent Grant. He had five brothers and four sisters, named Samuel Fountain, Ashley Johnson, James Crawford, George Lindsey, Delaware W. 'Dell', Mary Belle, Maggie Lou, Mattie Matilda and Jesse May. He was the third youngest of the ten children. He died at the age of 72 in January 1969 in Danville, Danville (Independent City), VA.¹
