Sherman Vick Holmes

Sherman Vick was born on November 20th, 1914 in Muhlenberg Co, KY. Sherman Vick's father was John Eli Holmes and his mother was Emily 'Emma' J. Higgs. His maternal grandparents were Moody C. Higgs and Nancy Jane Decker. He had five brothers and two sisters, named Lewis Hays, Ernest Ward, Jacob O., James C., Clyde, Mary C. and Fannie Myrtle. He was the youngest of the eight children. He died at the age of 89 on April 8th, 2004 in VA. He was buried on April 13th, 2004 in Oak Grove Baptist Church Cemetery, Bayville, Virginia Beach Co, VA.
