James C. Holmes

James C. was born on June 14th, 1910 in McLean Co, KY. James C.'s father was John Eli Holmes and his mother was Emily 'Emma' J. Higgs. His maternal grandparents were Moody C. Higgs and Nancy Jane Decker. He had five brothers and two sisters, named Lewis Hays, Ernest Ward, Jacob O., Clyde, Sherman Vick, Mary C. and Fannie Myrtle. He was the third youngest of the eight children. He died at the age of 94 on February 11th, 2005 in La Mesa, San Diego Co, CA.
